Welcome to Fixaars. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Fixaars mobile application and associated services. By using the platform, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below.
A. Service Description
Fixaars provides a marketplace platform that facilitates the connection between users seeking various handyman and home improvement services, and independent contractors who offer such services. Fixaars does not perform these services directly and does not act as an employer, agent, or partner to any provider. We do not control, direct, or supervise the activities of the service providers listed on our platform.
Fixaars connects individuals ("Users") with independent contractors ("Fixaars") offering handyman and home repair services. Fixaars acts solely as a digital marketplace and does not provide services directly, nor does it employ service providers.
B. User Eligibility & Responsibilities
Users must not misrepresent their identity, impersonate others, or engage in deceptive practices. All users must maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials and are solely responsible for all activities that occur under their account. Any form of abuse, harassment, or illegal conduct while using the Fixaars platform is strictly prohibited.
To use Fixaars, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. Users are expected to provide accurate information, avoid fraudulent or illegal activities, and respect both service providers and customer service personnel. Users must also ensure availability at the time of scheduled service.
C. Service Provider Responsibilities
Service providers are expected to deliver services professionally and on time, maintain up-to-date certifications, comply with applicable laws, and observe all safety protocols.
D. Payments and Fees, and Cancellations
All financial transactions conducted through the app must adhere to applicable laws and taxation regulations in the relevant jurisdiction. Users will receive clear and upfront disclosures about service costs prior to confirmation. Any additional costs must be disclosed and agreed upon by both parties. Refunds and cancellation fees, where applicable, are determined according to our published cancellation policy.
All payments are securely processed through third-party payment systems. Users must pay for services received, and providers agree to pay platform service fees. Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance to avoid penalties.
E. Platform Role & Liability Disclaimers
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any service provider’s profile or performance history. While Fixaars may offer optional rating or review systems, these are based on user feedback and are not endorsements. Fixaars shall not be held liable for any misrepresentation or non-performance of services by independent providers.
Fixaars is a neutral platform that connects users and providers. We do not employ, supervise, or guarantee any provider. Fixaars shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, misconduct, or disputes between users. All interactions are undertaken at the user's own risk.
F. No Guarantee or Vetting
Users are strongly encouraged to verify service provider credentials, experience, and licenses where applicable. Fixaars disclaims all liability for the consequences of relying on inaccurate or outdated information presented by users or providers.
Fixaars does not verify or vet service providers. We do not guarantee skill level, identity, legality, or reliability. Users must conduct their own due diligence.
G. Dispute Resolution
Fixaars encourages users to resolve disputes through open communication. If resolution cannot be achieved, users may pursue mediation or legal action independently. Fixaars does not participate in or bear responsibility for dispute outcomes and does not provide legal advice.
Fixaars is not a party to any service agreement. Any disputes must be resolved between the involved users. Fixaars does not mediate or arbitrate conflicts.
H. Indemnification
By using Fixaars, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fixaars and its affiliates from any and all claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the platform.
I. Off-Platform Activities
Fixaars is not responsible for any transactions or communications that occur outside of the platform environment. Users who choose to engage off-platform do so at their own risk.
J. Safety Advisory
Fixaars urges users to conduct a risk assessment before permitting any individual into their home or place of business. Keep emergency contacts accessible and avoid sharing bank information, PINs, or passwords with any provider. Report any behavior that seems fraudulent, inappropriate, or threatening immediately through the app’s support or helpdesk.
Use caution when engaging new individuals. Always verify identity, meet in public spaces when possible, and never share sensitive information unnecessarily.
K. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of any changes.
